Condolences

Condolence From: David and Buffy Kurowski
Condolence: Julia,

Our hearts are with you and your family and wanted very much to be at Arnold's celebration of life but due to Festival of Trees for hospice,we were not able to attend. Many wonderful memories of being with you and Arnold will always be cherished by us. Every time I look at the beautiful portrait he did of our family, I think of you both and am thankful that you have been in our lives. To you, Julia, you have such strength and commitment to always continue to really live not just to exist in this world. Your positive attitude and your love of life is commendable. When we travel thru Hood River, we will call to stop and see your new home and rest of family too. Love to you, Buffy and David

Condolence: I will always remember the warmth I was given when first I met Arnold and Julia. When I needed friends the most they extended their kindnesses. Forever I will cherish the memories of Arnold: our conversations, the laughs we had, the wisdom and stories he willingly shared. In a life filled with heartache and tribulations it was a privilege to know Arnold and be part of his life albeit for such a relatively short time. I hope the joys and fond memories of Arnold will help soothe the sting of the loss felt by his family and all those who loved this special man.

With love,
bee!

Condolence: Dear Curt,Judi,& family,

My heartfelt condolences go out to you. I can only say that after losing my Dad, aka. "POPS" in 2000, there isn't a day goes by that I don't remember something he said or did & with that he always stays close. A saying I try to live by is " there's only two things in life, people & stuff. & you can always replace the stuff."

Do take care & May God Bless,,

Donny Foley

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to your family. I have know the Zweerts for about 35 years and have never met a nicer family. They welcome you with open arms. I was a good friend and classmate of Judi. I spent a lot of time at the schoolhouse visiting and I felt right at home. Arnold was a good guy and always could make you laugh. I loved looking at Arnold and Julia's art work. May you rest in peace Arnold and know that your life left many memories for people to remember. Love, Dawn

Condolence: Dear Julia, We are saddened to hear of Arnold's death. In thinking about him, we recall enjoying so much being with him. There was always a warm and generous heart and sparkling sense of humor inside his sometimes gruff exterior. We could always count on learning something from him. Reading his obituary, we realize that there were parts of his past we did not know about. What an interesting life he had, and how hard at times. With love to you and your family, and with our deepest sympathy. Mark and Sue

Condolence From: Richard Tullis
Condolence: To the Family of Arnold Zweerts,
I wish to send you my heart felt condolences. I met Arnold and Julia when they lived in the school house in Postville, Julia was painting a water color of my parents farm. I asked Arnold if he would look at pictures that have painted ,or had been working on. Arnold truly touched my life. Later as time went on, and as we talked remember he welcomed my children as they played on the floors of that old school house. Arnold's painting inspired me . Later after Arnold and Julia had moved . I worded on the old school house with my father. Arnold was always there in some way as I worked send my peace to Julia and all the family.
